lauren mulhern, company dancer

Lauren (she/her) grew up near Flint, Michigan where she studied ballet and modern under the direction of Karen Mills Jennings at the Flint School of Performing Arts.  While in Flint, Lauren had the opportunity to train and collaborate with artists from the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Collage Dance Collective, the Balanchine Trust, Joffrey Midwest, the Glenda Brown Choreography Project, and Young! Tanzsommer (Stars of Tomorrow International).  

Lauren continued dancing while attending Hope College in Holland, Michigan, performing as a member of dANCE pROjECT and an inaugural member of H2 Dance Co.  After an almost 10 year hiatus from dance, Lauren started creating and moving again with New Industry Dance in 2023.  She is grateful to have the privilege of working with like-minded artists as she explores this new era of her creative career. 

Lauren holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Engineering, with a Mathematics minor, from Hope College.
